HomeschoolGo operates this affiliate program at its sole discretion and may modify or terminate it with 30 days' notice to active affiliates. Affiliates must be 18 or older and capable of entering a legally binding agreement.
The program is open to residents of the United States and Canada. Affiliates from other countries are not eligible at this time — we hope to expand in the future.
When you join, you receive a unique referral link (e.g., homeschoolgo.app/?ref=YOURCODE). When someone clicks your link, a tracking cookie is set in their browser with no expiration date.
If that person signs up for HomeschoolGo — whether immediately or weeks later — the referral is credited to you. If the same visitor later clicks a different affiliate's link, the newer click overwrites the original attribution (last-click wins). The cookie is cleared once the referral converts to a paying customer.
Only one affiliate can receive credit per customer. Self-referrals are explicitly permitted — if you sign up your own co-op through your referral link, you earn both the discount and the commission.
You earn a $75 flat commission when a co-op you referred:
Commissions are not earned on free plan sign-ups or accounts that cancel or are refunded before the first billing cycle completes.
Co-ops who sign up through your referral link automatically receive 30% off their first full year on any paid plan. This discount is applied at checkout and cannot be combined with any other promotional code.
Commissions are paid within 30 days of the end of the calendar month in which they were earned. The minimum payout threshold is $75 (one confirmed conversion), which prevents micro-transactions.
Payment is made via PayPal to the email address you provided at sign-up. You can update your PayPal email at any time by contacting us.
HomeschoolGo reserves the right to hold commissions if fraud or abuse is suspected. You will be notified if a commission is placed on hold.
US affiliates earning $600 or more in a calendar year will receive a 1099-NEC. Canadian affiliates completing a W-8BEN (provided as a fillable PDF link at payout time) are not subject to US withholding. Affiliates are responsible for their own tax obligations.
Affiliates may not:
What's fine: sharing your link in homeschool Facebook groups you're part of, emailing co-op leaders you know personally, adding it to your conference booth materials, mentioning it in your newsletter.
HomeschoolGo may terminate an affiliate account for violation of these terms. In cases of fraud, unpaid commissions will be forfeited. For other violations, pending earned commissions will still be paid on the normal schedule.
You may terminate your own participation at any time by contacting us. Any commissions already earned will be paid out on the normal schedule.
Affiliates are independent contractors, not employees or agents of HomeschoolGo. Nothing in this agreement creates an employment, partnership, or joint venture relationship. HomeschoolGo does not withhold taxes on affiliate commissions.
We want this program to feel trustworthy, not like a black box.
HomeschoolGo commits to showing you accurate, real-time data in your affiliate dashboard: every click, every sign-up, every conversion, and every payout. There are no hidden adjustments or unexplained zeroes.
If we ever change the commission rate or materially change these terms, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance and honor the existing rate for any referrals already in your pipeline at the time of the change.
