About CHEEF

Christian Home Educators Enjoying Fellowship, or CHEEF, is a local support group for homeschoolers in Erie, Huron and Sandusky counties and surrounding areas. We strive to uphold Christian values in all our activities and behaviors, going beyond just having strong character and good morals, but believing that our God is central to everything we do. "But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not whither. What We Offer

Christian

Moms Night Out

Monthly gatherings for homeschool moms to refuel and build friendships.

Physical Fridays

Activities such as dodgeball, hiking, skating, bowling, or ice skating.

Parties

Christmas Party on Friday, December 5, 2025 and Valentine's Party on Friday, February 13, 2026.

Hospitality

Coffee bar, meal trains, prayer requests, and birthday recognitions.

Annual meeting dues

  • •Membership fees support website hosting, parties, programming, miscellaneous fees, and annual meeting expenses.

Membership Notes

  • We do not plan to use Paypal this year. Please make dues, fees, and other expenses by cash or check.
  • CHEEF plans to cap memberships at 68 families for the 2025-2026 school year. New memberships will be thrown into a drawing to ensure things are handled fairly. Current memberships will be automatically grandfathered in.
  • A sick policy is in place to help keep all families, including those with compromised immune systems, safe.
