C.H.E.E.F Member Agreement for the School Year 2025-2026

Statement of Faith 2025-2026

We believe that the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments stand alone as the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21).

We believe that there is one God eternally who exists as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is eternal, holy, and sovereign; the Creator, Preserver, and Ruler of all things (Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30).

We believe in the literal Biblical account of Creation as set forth in Genesis 1 and 2.

We believe in:

  • The deity and humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ who is the only begotten Son of God (John 10:30, 10:33, Romans 9:5)
  • His virgin birth (Matthew 1:23)
  • His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15)
  • His miracles (John 2:11)
  • His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood (1 Corinthians 15:3, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9)
  • His bodily resurrection (John 11:25, 1 Corinthians 15:4)
  • His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19)
  • His personal and physical return in power and glory (Acts 1:11, Revelation 19:11)

We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential. Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. It is not a result of works (John 3:16-19, Romans 3:23, Ephesians 2:8-10).

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: the saved unto the resurrection of eternal life, and the lost unto the resurrection of eternal damnation (John 5:28-29).

We believe in the current ministry of the Holy Spirit: to convict, indwell, teach, guide, and empower the believer to perform good works and live a godly life (Romans 8:13-14, 1 Corinthians 3:16, Ephesians 4:30).

We believe that God, in His Word, has given parents the responsibility and authority to teach and train their children in a godly manner (Deuteronomy 6:6-7, Proverbs 22:6).

We believe human life begins at conception and an unborn baby should be respected as a person created in the image of God. Abortion and other similar acts are murder and therefore against the will of God (Psalm 139:13-14, Proverbs 6:16-17).

We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. These two distinct, complementary genders reflect the image and nature of God (Genesis 1:26-27). Rejection of one's biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person.

We believe that the term marriage has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as set forth in Scripture (Genesis 2:18-25). We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other (1 Corinthians 6:18, 7:2-5, Hebrews 13:4).

We believe that any form of sexual immorality (including adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, and pornography) is sinful and offensive to God (Matthew 15:18-20, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10).

We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity (Mark 12:28-31, Luke 6:31). Hateful and harassing attitudes or behavior toward any individual will not be tolerated and is not in accordance with Scripture or the doctrines of CHEEF.

We believe, in order to preserve the function and integrity of CHEEF and to maintain a like-minded group of Believers, all families must agree that they hold to the Biblical truths set forth in this Statement of Faith.

Code of Conduct 2025-2026

  • Children are to willingly accept the authority of those adults in charge of an activity or class.
  • Disrespectful attitudes or actions in group activities or classes are unacceptable.
  • Children are to be courteous toward others' feelings, ideas, talents, and property.
  • Children are not to leave the group without permission.

  • Continual violation of the Code of Conduct will result in a child being removed from the group activity or class for a time.
  • In the event of an overnight trip, the child's parent is required to attend and be present at all times. Additionally, there are to be no co-ed sleeping arrangements except for married couples or siblings.

Volunteer Agreement 2025-2026

For the upcoming school year we are requesting all of our members to volunteer to help with at least one area in the group. If wanted, you are able to work together with another parent to help plan an event. If you have any questions or concerns with volunteering, please send an email to [email protected].

There are two exceptions to the volunteering rule as outlined below. Although we would allow these individuals to volunteer in an area, it is not compulsory:

  • New members for the 2025-2026 school year
  • Members with children 2 & under

Please check at least one area to volunteer and a member of that planning team will reach out to you.

Volunteer areas:

  • I am exempt from helping based on the criteria above
  • Parties: planning activities, setting up or tearing down, helping with food
  • Field trips: coordinating a field trip or outing for the group; could be as simple as coordinating a park meetup for the year
  • Physical Fridays: working with our Physical Friday coordinator to help with a couple Friday events
  • Hosting or planning a Moms Night Out: a coffee date, game night, dinner, or another simple gathering
  • Hospitality: helping with coffee bar and providing meals for meal trains
